Levan is a pacy right full back who combines excellent skills both in the offensive and defensive duties.

Levan begun his carrier in AEL FC at the age of 20 as an attacking right midfielder. During his first year in AEL FC he had limited 1^st team exposure and as a result of this, he was given on a loan transfer to Aris FC and AEP FC in the next two following years. During that time Levan was used in several positions and often as a target man where his performance made little or no impact.

However it was not until the Greek/Romanian coach, Mr.Mantzourakis (x-coach of Olympiakos Pireaus), arrived in AEL FC in 2002 that Levan’s carrier started flourishing. The “Master tactician” as the Greek/Romanian coach is often called, saw the potential of Maghradze as a right full back and as a result he called to rejoin AEL FC. Levan’s performance as a right-full back was more than impressive and in 2003 there were speculations that AEK Athens was interested in signing him. Finally Levan joined Xanthi FC in June 2004 where he played all matches in the Greek premier league and made his National team debut in 2005 against Albania.
